Unforgettable Girls’ Getaway: Prague Highlights

Prague is the perfect destination for a girls’ getaway: it’s rich in culture, packed with quirky activities, and full of opportunities to make memories you’ll laugh about for years. My recent trip with the girls ticked all the boxes – from indulgent treats to rooftop drinks and endless dancing…what more would you want

Here’s how we spent our unforgettable girls’ trip to the beautiful city of Prague…

Where We Stayed

We booked a cozy Airbnb apartment, and it was chef’s kiss- the perfect size for us, with a nearby metro station – perfect for exploring the city. If you’re planning a trip, I definitely recommend checkng out Airbnb for unique and affordable stays in Prague.

What We Did

  1. Madame Tussauds – Surprisingly Entertaining

Okay, I’ll admit this wasn’t part of our original plan, but we decided to kill time before dinner by popping into Madame Tussauds on a whim – and it was so much more fun than we expected! Posing with the wax celebs (including JB) ended up being a hilarious highlight of the trip.

2. Charles Bridge by Day

This iconic spot is as stunning as it looks in the pictures. We strolled across it in the sunshine, soaking up the history and snapping all the photos for the ‘gram. It’s a must-do for first-timers in Prague!

Top tip: grab an aperol spritz on the go to enjoy whilst walking across the bridge!

3. Ice Bar + 5 Story Club

One evening, we booked tickets through GetYourGuide that included access to the Ice Bar (so fun!) and Prague’s iconic 5-story nightclub. And, let me tell you, we spent ALL night in the ‘cheese room’ – a dance floor dedicated to nostalgic hits and bops. It was peak girls’ trip energy!

4. Rooftop Boat Cruise

Nothing says ‘girls on holiday’ like sipping Aperol on a boat. We went on a rooftop boat cruise, and it was such a vibe – the sunny weather, gorgeous views and the endless photo ops made this one of the most relaxing parts of the trip.

5. The Photobooth

Prague is known for its adorable vintage photobooths, and of course, we couldn’ resist. We squeezed into one for the series of snaps that will forever remind us of this trip.

Location – Národni 1393/4 110 00 Prague 1.

6. Irish Bars and Endless Dancing

Every night, we found ourselves in Irish bars – belting out karaoke classics or entering dance battles with strangers. The energy was unmatched, and it became our nightly tradition to let loose and make some unforgettable memories.

The Food Highlight

Pistachio Chimney Cake & Brunch Goals

You simply cannot visit Prague without indulging in a chimney cake (or two). My personal favourite? A pistachio ice cream filled chimney cake that was so delicious I’m still dreaming about it. Trust me, it’s a foodie moment you’ll never forget!

But it wasn’t just the sweet treats – Prague also delivered on brunch in a big way. One morning, we tucked into perfectly poached eggs with avocado on sourdough, drizzled with creamy hollandaise sauce. Whether you’re a savoury breakfast lover or a sweet-tooth kinda girl like me, Prague’s food scene has you covered. Do make sure you explore the local cafes for more brunch gems – you won’t regret it!
